Our story

Orama's journey began with Lyra, an open-source project incubated at NearForm, a European consultancy. Initially a browser-based search engine, Lyra caught the attention of NearForm's founder, Cian O’Maidin, who discerned its potential.

With strategic insight, O’Maidin recruited a seasoned business leader and encouraged the team to start a company, propelling the project's evolution into a full-fledged company.
